Earlier this year we introduced what is known as TrueSDK for Android app globally.. This allows developers to use Truecaller as a tool to verify users with their phone number and help users to seamlessly and quickly sign up or register in their apps.
So what does it mean for you? Simplicity.
By using Truecaller to register with new apps and services, you can save time and the hassle of signing-up, manually typing and verifying yet another service. Instead, just use your Truecaller account to quickly verify yourself with your phone number during sign up and enjoy the experience of the app.
How to Sign-Up to Apps Using Truecaller
When you see the “Sign up via Truecaller” button in an app, it’s just one click and you’ll be set to enjoy your new service! No more waiting for one time codes to be sent via SMS.
So far, we’ve seen great enthusiasm with the developer community and have signed up partners such globally and in our biggsest market, India we’ve signed up partners such as as Quikr (Classifieds), Monster.com (Jobs), Mobiwik (Mobile recharge/payments), Bankbazaar (financial products), OYO Rooms (accommodation) redBus (Bus booking), Ixigo (Travel).
More and more apps are adapting Truecaller’s quick sign-up methods via phone number and autofill mechanisms, and we are excited for our users to be able to experience many great apps without the hassle of a verification process.
