Around the world we all have experiences that lay down our life paths. Many of these experiences or decisions can come at any moment, and if they are missed, they may never present themselves again.

We are focusing on experiences where a phone call helped changed someone’s life for the better. Every story begins with the right moment. Bollywood actor, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, tells his story of how his life changed from watchman to an actor after taking the right call from an unknown number, which happened to be a film studio he auditioned for.

The #TakeTheRightCall campaign invites Truecaller’s 200 million users to let their stories be heard by contacting Truecaller’s campaign page, or sharing on the official Truecaller Facebook page!

Take The Right Call True Stories

I have a pretty satisfactory job as an analyst, but if you ask me my true aspirations, I want to be an actress. I give auditions whenever I find an opportunity but they aren’t easy to come by.There was one such audition that I gave 3 years ago. They didn’t tell me which project it was for. I didn’t get a call for months. More auditions happened, life resumed as usual and I completely forgot about it.Then, out of the blue one mundane Wednesday, my phone rang in a meeting. Obviously my phone was on silent. But it buzzed the third time, which is when I looked at the screen. Truecaller said it was from the production house I auditioned for.I excused myself from the meeting, and 15 days later I was sitting with Ashton Kutcher on the set of Jobs in Vrindavan. I would have never left that meeting for an unknown call, but thank God I did.
