As the usage of smart phones are at a staggering increase, it is obvious that more people around the world prefer using a mobile phone over a land line. However, in many countries, a majority of mobile users turn to pre-paid phones rather than subscriptions because it is a cheaper option.  With the lack of registered names of pre-paid phones mixed with various countries that have non-existing public number directories; you have a problem.

Truecaller is filling the void. With the click of the Truecaller app on a supported mobile phone, a user has instant access to a global phone directory and various possibilities. Whether it is screening calls, finding long lost friends, surprising businesses with name recognition, or protecting their number from unwanted callers, Truecaller is changing daily lives on a global scale.

“A majority of my day consists of making in-person sales calls on prospects and customers.  I leave my business card up to 50 different locations a week.  So, when a call comes in on my cell phone it is nice to know who is calling.  Sometimes the person on the other end doesn’t want to give their name, but I can still have the advantage of knowing who they are because of Truecaller.
